Celebrating Life, Love & Hope through global music within the heart of street dance styles. Walk with me “Uhambe Nami” while we take you around the world: showcasing, clashing/battling at Pan African Connection in Dallas Texas.
CELEBRATE LIFE "Uhambe Nami" event will have a LIVE DJ, HOST, 5 JUDGES to score each dance competitor. Winner walks away with $350 CASH. To compete you must be 18 yrs & up. Each battle round will consist of the following Street Dance Styles: HIP HOP | AFRODANCE | DANCEHALL | LATIN. This means as a competitor if the LIVE DJ is playing Afrobeat music you must execute Afrodance steps not Hip Hop nor Dancehall or Latin steps. Each street dance style must be expressed (dance movement) to the heart of each music genre being played.
Competitors can be 1v1 or 2v1 or 2v2... everyone clashing (battling or showcasing) must be 18 yrs or older to enter their names. Our event will also feature 2 dance groups to showcase at CELEBRATE LIFE "Uhambe Nami" event on November 29 Sunday 2-5PM.
